Nourishing Connections

A community of food aware citizens coming together to inspire change in both our local and global communities.

FARMACIE 7.0 || The Talent

Heard the rumour that good entertainment makes wine more sweet, food more savoury, and conversation more connected? Well, we're starting it. The talent making this dinner sing (literally and figuratively) is going to add a layer to the long table experience like no other.

Luca Fogale - The Singer/Songwriter

A folk singer/songwriter from Burnaby, BC, the Farmacie team (in our pursuits of all things health and wellbeing) first heard Luca's voice in a Moksha Yoga class.

Diving more deeply into his work, we were blown away by his sound and the heart in his songs.

His first full length album, Safety, has recently been released, and we are beyond thrilled he'll be joining us to serenade our guests through cocktail hour and as they transition into an evening of seemingly endless courses.

Emma MacDonald - The Poet

Our last long table dinner with Saje Natural Wellness was in support of Girlvana Yoga. When one of our team members met Emma MacDonald at this summer's Girlvana Yoga Retreat and regaled at the privilege of watching her perform, we knew we wanted to bring her gifts to a dinner.

A spoken word poet (and all around beautiful human being), Emma has a gift for bringing language and a powerful voice to experiences—both hers and those of those around her—and a passionate, articulated, hair raising way of delivering the stories she crafts that makes her words sink into your cells and stir your soul.

Christine Pienaar - The Eye

It's all about the l-o-v-e with this North Vancouver resident. Christine photographs weddings across BC and throughout the world, and works with small businesses and individuals who are living, working, breathing, wedding (et al.) with heart.

Sharing her natural-light photography skills with our dinner, Christine captures the moments between the moments—where no one is posing—that are where memories are truly made and experiences are infused with life.
